ABOUT ME

I’m Karissa Kelley, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Chambersburg, PA. I work with individuals, families, adolescents, and older elementary-aged children.

I work with a variety of challenges and diagnoses but I specialize in bereavement and trauma. I use a trauma modality called EMDR. You can learn more about these therapies on my "services offered" page.

Clients tell me I am easy to talk with and seem relaxed during conversation. It is important to me that you feel comfortable, liked, and valued. I believe that every person is an expert about themselves. I also believe that you already have everything you need to succeed. Our job together is to locate and hone your skills.

I graduated in 2013 from Biblical Theological Seminary (now Missio Seminary) with a Master's of Arts in Counseling. While I am familiar with religions, I do not subscribe to a religiously-influenced model of counseling. I have worked in a variety of settings with many populations including in-home family therapy and outpatient family and individual counseling.
